About Wide Angle (Social Documentary Photography)
Wide Angle seeks submissions of single photographs, series or essays striving to tell the story of communities and individuals striving to change the world around them or simply survive in it.
Captions (in English) telling the story, with the context and the identification of subjects (where possible), are vital to the purposes of this curated group.
The goal is to encourage discussion on the role and meaning of social photography and socially concerned photographer.
The group items will be selected and posted as a whole. In other words, the objective is to have a collection of images that benefit from being grouped together - where context, juxtaposition and quality will be important values.
