Welcome to the Wichita Flickr group!

First, let's get the rules and restrictions out of the way: There aren't any, really.

Generally this group will feature the work of Wichitans, for the purpose of tying the community of photographers together. Most of our members currently live or have at one time lived in or near the Wichita, KS area. The byproduct is that many of the photos in the group's pool are taken in and around Wichita, but this is by no means a requirement. We're focused on the people.

However, since we'd like to show everyone's work equally and not have one person's work get buried by another's, we do limit daily submissions to 6 photos per day, per person.

We generally hold meetings, photowalks, or workshops at least once a month, if not more frequently. Our discussion board is fairly active, so be sure to check it for details on the next meetup, photos from the last exercise, and general photography discussion.
