About White's Sketchbook Project
Welcome, All.
The aim for this project is to make drawing part of our everyday enjoyment.
All you need to join in is a blank sketchbook and a thirst for creativity!
Each week you will be set a small, intriguing drawing task to complete at your leisure (ideally before the next topic has been set). Once you have completed this week’s study, simply upload your finished piece to share with the group.
This is an inclusive project which depends on your input. Your comments on the Discussion page will decide the next theme.
White’s Sketchbook Project is designed to stimulate creative dialogue between group members and the wider community.
Everyone will be able to view your work on this site, but only members will be allowed to comment. You can also set filters, so that only your favourite pieces are on display.
This shared communication will build a support network of fellow drawing lovers. It will also create a catalogue of your ongoing work, stimulating your ongoing progress and informing your creative process as a whole.
Drawing is often a solo activity, but it doesn’t have to be an isolated experience.
Alice White is an Associate Lecturer at Central Saint Martins, teaching drawing and painting.
White’s Sketchbook Project is an adjacent part of On Form Life Drawing, run in Peckham every Tuesday evening from 6.30-8.30pm. Why not join in?
