About White-Out Effect

The white-out (whiteout, white out) effect has been used in Hollywood and in art for years. The effect in itself is dramatic and emotional.

This effect has also been called the ghost effect, ghostly/wispy effect or more technically, high exposure black and white.

This group is NOT:

A black and white photo group

A normal lighting photo group

This group IS:

A post-processed, white-out effect photo group

A high(long)-exposure, white-out effect photo group

A brightly lit, white-out effect photo group

A high(bright)-contrast, white-out effect group

The photos in this group should be processed in a photo-editing program such as Adobe Photoshop or should be taken in a studio/location with proper, bright lighting or camera settings. Over-Exposed images and images with color are accepted and welcomed.
