As a wise and talented guy from Lethbridge said. "Flickr is of course the greatest thing ever, but it seems that it's punchy, intense colours that always get the views and faves, and that ain't right!" So we thought, "How about colour photos with almost no colour?"

Yup, two Canadians and a Norwegian have created the idea for this Whiteout Group. We think it was all the snow that lead us to this ... go figure! :D

COLOUR PHOTOS of WHITE OBJECTS / SUBJECTS that feature white predominantly (80% or more) and make very limited use of any colours that are not neutral and desaturated. This excludes images that are mainly white but rely on small areas of strong colour for their visual impact.

- No black & white photos
- No desaturated photos
- No strong colour
- No nudity (Borrowed from the Utata Group: While we all love naked people and people parts, this is an all-ages, all-sensibilities group with a fairly large public traffic. For this reason, we do not allow nudes in the pool.)

Ideal image is snow on a white fence! :-D



Images that, in the opinion of the admins, don't fit the guidelines will be removed without prior notice.
