It may say public but only family and friends can view photos you upload and choose "family and friends" on. Makes them totally private. BUT If you want a photo to go on the blog or on your website or in an email, you have to make it public. OR the people viewing it have to be logged into Flickr and be listed in your friends and family contacts. You can make all those decisions on a photo by photo basis and you can change it at anytime.

After you set up a free account, please send some photos to the group pool.
