About where the sidewalk ends

Where the sidewalk ends is a group of pictures that give the impression that you've reached the end of the earth. That's the end, right there in the picture, you've found it! At long last!

Please only post pictures that give the appearance that you could take a few more steps and leap off into nothingness, sky, or similar infinite spaces. This is not a group where the title should be taken literally. For example, pictures of sidewalks, walkways, gangplanks, paths, trails, and roads should only be included if the observer gets the keen impression that they are at the end of the world.

This group was inspired by the cover of the Shel Silverstein book of the same name. If you're doubting whether or not your image fits, please find an image of the cover and peer over the edge of your photo like the little girl peers over the edge of the sidewalk.

Although not necessary, diminishing perspective really helps for pictures of landscapes.
