06 Jul 09 - Thanks for your input so far. It would be great if we could get more content geotagged during July so keep the photos coming in. The fine weather seems to be holding but even if it does not, charting and mapping the summer in Ireland can still be done.

About Where's my summer 2009?

This group will be picture-mapping the Irish summer with a collection of geo-tagged images from across the island. Parks, cycling, walks, sports events, views, festivals, parties, beaches... and (maybe, just maybe), sunny days.

Note: this group can't accept images that do not contain location information. We want to make a pretty map, you see. Geo-tagging is very easy on Flickr. When looking at an individual image, click the option to the right of the image that says "add to your map". Then simply drag the bullseye to the exact location where the image was taken. Also, please try to only add images that are of this summer, from May 1st to August 31st.
