About Where Canada
Where is an international network of magazines first published in 1936 to serve the global visitor market. The largest network of visitor publications in the world, Where is distributed in more than 4,300 leading hotels in cities such as New York, Las Vegas, London, Paris and Moscow. In Canada, there are 13 Where publications: Calgary, Canadian Rockies, Edmonton, Halifax, Mississauga, Muskoka/Parry Sound, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria, Whistler, Winnipeg, and Alaska & Yukon, which collectively reach more than 9 million readers. In each city, local editors, writers and photographers develop content for their respective publications, providing expert advice and recommendations based on their personal experiences and vast knowledge of the city they live in.
As taking photos during your trip to show family and friends at home or to serve as memories of your visit is a natural part of everyone’s travelling experience, this Flickr pool is a place for individuals to share their personal photographs. Whether it’s a new perspective of an iconic attraction, a special place you’ve discovered, an event or festival you attended, or a postcard-worthy image, we hope you’ll show us—and the greater world—what you did and enjoyed during your Canadian visit.
The images submitted to this pool will not be published in any of our Where magazines, but may appear on our website, Where.ca, with a blog post or feature. By submitting your photos to this pool, you are giving Where.ca the right to use your photos in their web content. Credit will always be given to individuals as well as a link to your Flickr page. To the best of our abilities, we will notify you if we use your image in our online content.
Thank you for your contributions. We look forward to seeing mementos of your trip.
