I'll get straight to the point.
Sorrow and suffering is one of the strongest emotions that can be portrayed within an image.
This group is all about the emotion of sadness and the suffering that causes sadness. Not limited to just humans can be open to all things that can be considered sad a tradgedy or outrageous in the world we live in.
Although this sounds a morbid and negative subject, without sadness we dont know what happiness is. I want you to think about the world around you. I want you to have a purpose to the image you take.
Living life to the fullest means experiencing all that life throws at you good and bad.
Through the eyes of a photographer/journalist, your challenge is to find an image that inspires you to want to make a change in your world, to stop all the ugliness and suffering. This is the power of the picture.
No limits, pictures just have to explore the topic. Descriptions are optional, most I dear say wont need one.
