About Where has YOUR Family Tree Magazine been?

Family Tree Magazine in Action

For the past decade, Family Tree Magazine has been there for you, providing handy how-to advice for your genealogical quest. But how often is Family Tree Magazine there with you in your genealogy pursuits? Do you take your copy to the library, archives or cemetery? Your genealogical society meeting? The doctor’s office? The gym?

In celebration of our 10th anniversary, we’re asking readers to show their spirit: Snap a picture of your Family Tree Magazine on its travels, and post it to this Flickr photo pool. Be creative: We’ll award a 2010 Genealogy Desk Calendar to the submitter of the most unusual location, as well as one “editors’ choice” for our overall favorite photo.

How to Submit

You must have a Flickr membership (free or paid) to upload photos or add comments. Click here to learn more about Flickr: www.flickr.com/tour

No need to post your real name if you prefer not to, but if you would like to be credited should we publish your photo in Family Tree Magazine, please provide your name and your city or town of residence.

Have questions or wish to submit a photo or caption through other means? E-mail your question or submission to us at ftmnews-editor@fwmedia.com.

You may submit as many times as you like. By submitting photos and captions via Flickr or e-mail, you verify that you are the copyright holder of the photo or caption. You also grant F+W Media, Inc., permission to use your contribution in any and all print and electronic media.

Prizes
Two winning entries will be selected by May 15, 2010.

We'll notify winners by e-mailing through Flickr (if the winner is a Flickr member), or by replying to the submitter's e-mailed message (if the winner e-mailed his/her submission directly to us). If the winner doesn't respond to two attempts at contact within 21 days, he or she forfeits the prize and we'll select another winner.
