About Great American Cars 1965-1973 This group is for people who believe that the most beautiful American automobiles ever produced were from 1965-1973 and for posting pictures of such. I would like to create a gallery here of these vehicles that had character and personality. It is my opinion that the cars of today have plenty of fancy gadgets in them and are ergonomic, but they all lack persona and uniqueness. It seems the designers give great thought to the front end of today's cars but the design of the rear has become an afterthought. Does anyone else out there hate the short or almost non-existent decks on today's cars?? I love to see the cars of old with long fronts and long decks. Feel free to post pictures but please keep them within the '65-'73 era or they will be deleted. Pictures of restored or good condition cars are preferred, but junkyard models are welcome too, as long as the car make/model is distinguishable.	Additional Information This is a public group.
