07 Apr 12 - I have been asked to help as Admin as a result of my comment in the discussion thread.

Please add any photo relating to Wharves, Jetties, Quays etc. There are lots of Shipping groups on Flickr.
If you post to them, chances are you will have an image of a Cruise or Cargo ship tied up to one ?
Fishing boats, Ferries, Dinghies, Launches and other small craft use Wharves and Docks too.
So lets get some momentum into the group....I do need your help, so invite your friends.

Quay is common in the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth countries and Wharf is more common in North America.
