About Weyer (Austria)

Weyer is a pretty village in Upper Austria, situated along the river Enns. According to legend it was founded after beavers broke a fisherman's dam and thereby made a vast area arable and inhabitable...

Apart from this little story, there is a couple of things that make the place worthwile, such as uninhabited mountainous areas, rough snow in winter and all the other backcountry stuff.
