About Wetlands
Wetland ecosystems are essential to the health of our natural world. They filter pollutants and sediment, reduce soil erosion, and provide essential requirements for much wildlife. This Flickr group is meant to celebrate wetlands of all kinds and foster greater appreciation and understanding of this important resource.
The scope of this group is intentionally broad in order to showcase the many aspects of wetlands all over the world. Photos can be landscapes, macro shots, panoramas, etc. as long as they feature a wetland setting and/or the indigenous wildlife. Thanks, everyone!
