About WETA Great Views
The Washington, DC area has many beautiful sights and views. To capture these special places, WETA has produced a new local television show, "Great Views - The WETA Guide," premiering in July 2007. To accompany the show, we've created this Flickr group in hope that viewers will show us their favorite local vistas.
So, grab your camera and snap some pictures of your favorite Washington views! Show us the stuff we missed in the show, or another perspective on views that were mentioned.
It's really quite easy. If you're a Flickr member already just click the "Join this Group" link to the right and then select the photos you want to add to the group pool by clicking the "Send to Group" icon on the photo's page. If you'd like, you can also map where you took the photo by selecting Organize > Map and dropping your photo onto the map.
There are no strings attached. You will still own the photo and its copyright, and you may remove your photos from the group at any time. We will not use your photo for anything, other than display here in Flickr and on our Web site, through the Flickr badge. In fact, you can display the badge on your site as well, if you'd like. Flickr has an easy tutorial on how to do it.
