About Come Stay at the Western (Motel/Hotel)The Western Motel, the Western_______Motel/Hotel or the______Western Motel/Hotel is/was found in a lot of cities and towns across North America and they were not necessarily in the west. This group is about images of the motel especially the sign(the sign does not need to be vintage). Images of the motel itself are most certainly welcome if the sign can be read. Postcards meeting the criteria are welcome also. What is not really wanted are chain motels i.e. Best Western. Western Inn, Western Motor Inn or the like are welcome also. If you have multiple images of the same motel or motel sign, please select the best one to submit. If you have both day and night views, then by all means submit both. The group is not looking for abstract or partial sign photos, the whole sign should be in the photo. If in doubt submit the photo and if it doesn't fit the criteria it will be deleted with hopefully no hard feelings. So come and stay at the Western. |
