NJ Lighthouse Challenge 2007

When: October 20 & 21

Challenge: To visit all 11 of NJ's lighthouses. You'll receive a souivineer token of that lighthouse at each one of the lighthouses which you will trade in for a special achievement token.

Lighthouses:
Sandy Hook, Twin Lights, Sea Girt, Barnegat, Tucker's Island, Abescon, Hereford Inlet, Cape May, East Point, Finn's Point and
Tinicum. All will be open from 8 AM to 6 PM. Five of them will have an additional 2 hours evening extention for this days event, to 8 PM. They are: Sandy Hook, Tucker's Island, Abscon, Cape May, and Tinicum.

In it's 8th year, sponsored by the NJ Lighthouse Society.To find out more about the event at www.njlhs.org .

There's no sign-up or registration required. You are not required to climb the lighthouse to receive your token. There's no fee to participate in the challenge.

SUGGESTION: To identify each other as same, carrying something such as a fake/atrificial red rose. Picking a time, such as 1 PM might be helpful too, at the closest lighthouse to where you live..... What do you think?
