About The Weekly Assignment
The idea of this group is simple: it is a catalyst for taking more photos. Most of us here are hobbyist photographers, and when we have some free time to dedicate to the hobby, the first question invariable pops up: "What am I going to shoot?" When the answer to that question is "anything", the result is often nothing. "Anything" can be too overwhelming.
That's where a weekly assignment can help. It narrows things down and gives you a mission.
It is the hope of this group, that beautiful photos will be taken that would have otherwise gone un-snapped.
Every weekend, a theme/word/concept is selected, and each member submits up to three photos, inspired by that week's assignment. The photos need to be in by the end of the following weekend.

Rules:
1. No more than three posts per week (you may swap photos as much as you like, up until the cut-off date, as long as you don't have more than three posted at any one time)
2. No special effects (basic enhancements allowed)
3. Only photos taken after the assignment is announced are allowed
4. The viewer should be able to make a reasonably easy connection between the photo and the assignment
