About WB Wildlife Contest 2011
We travel a lot to the amazing places and snap really amazing pictures sometimes. We like to share pictures, but either are too busy or lacking the audience to admire them. Global Tiger Initiative within the World Bank is filling these gaps and invites you to share your amazing pictures of wildlife with a bigger audience of your own colleagues and people around the globe.
The RULES are simple:
Participants Eligible for the WB Wildlife Contest 2011: WB staff and immediate family members.
Photos: A wild animal (terrestrial and aquatic) must be present on a photo.
Number of photos: 5 photos per account (each Flickr account treated as a person).
Categories: Adults and Junior.
Themes:
- Wildlife in their Natural Environment
- Wildlife in Urban Environment
- Wildlife Conservation Efforts
By submitting your digital photos, you are giving the World Bank (Global Tiger Initiative) permission to use these photos for awareness building purposes promoting wildlife conservation, for non-commercial use.
Photo Credits: Each submitted photo must be described shortly:
- 1st line: Short title of the picture (3-5 words);
- 2nd line: First and last name of persone who took the photo;
- 3rd line: Country, region, name of the park / protected area, or other area, date where and when the photo was taken, english name of the species, if known; and
- 4th line: Short description of the photo--why in particular you like it and submitting for others to see or win the contest.
