About The Way of the Sword

Portrait photographs of practioners of any sword art practising their art, Asian, Western, African, Indian, etc. For example this could include fencing (sabre, epee, foil, classic), Iaido, Kendo, Kumdo, Taichi, or any other. The photographs should have some artistic merit, but please nothing nothing pornographic (there are plenty of other Flickr groups for that sort of thing).

Again, the emphasis is on practioners...and your photograph should show the sword in use. The occassional photograph of a sword without a human practioner is acceptable if it is of a high artistic and qualitative standard. Photographs of non-practioners posing with a sword they have never trained with are generally not acceptable, except in the instance of high artistic and qualitative standards and where it is representative of a martial art.
