About Water silhouettes
So, you know that late summer, late evening feeling, when the crowds have gone, and the lights are low. The water has turned to a velvet blanket, and the work is all finished.
The kids are fed, and the dishes done. Seagulls break the silence and people relax in the warm evening, washing out the heat of the day.
A cool drink, and great company, wonderfully impossible stories and the promise of another hot sunny day...
As you look over at the kids/parents/uncles/friends/buddies/lovers, you see them outlined in the last light of the day, silhouetted in front of the tired waves, seemingly motionless between you and the last rays bouncing off the breakers.
There's nothing quite like the combination of silhouettes and water, no matter what time of day, season or weather. I'd like to share some I've stumbled across in my travels, and I'd like to see what you've captured.
Come on. It's either just been summer, or just going to be, so why not?
