About Small Water
Nothing bigger than an olympic-sized swimming pool. Think trickling, gurgling, cozy, quaint, etc.
The primary subject (what stands out) should be the water--not a critter or person or landscape or REFLECTION.
No muddy/murky/swampy or otherwise icky uninviting looking water--we're going for beauty/charm.
Examples: fish ponds, container gardens, backyard waterfalls, neighborhood creeks, tabletop or full size fountains, natural looking swimming pools/spas, water wheels, or other decorative water features that are indoors or outdoors.
No more than 1-2 photos of the same subject and a maximum of 3 photos in the pool per day
GUIDELINES UPDATED
We accept: fountains, ponds, swimming pools, creeks, rivers, small lakes, waterfalls, puddles (if they're voluminous), and other small natural bodies of water or decorative manmade water features
We DON'T accept: droplets, sinks, industrial water sources, wildlife as the main subject of the photo, reflections of trees, etc. as the main subject of the photo, photos with people in them, photos where the plants fill more of the picture than the water, portions of vast bodies of water (i.e. a portion of the ocean), small bodies of water with no framing (i.e. close-ups of swimming pool water rather than the pool itself).
All submissions that don't fit the guidelines will be deleted without explanation.
