05 Mar 12 - Thanks too all of our members for their wonderful submissions to the pool! To those new members who join, PLEASE read the description of the group before popping in your photos of trees, etc. If that's your first submission, we usually just assume you're dumping and will simply remove you from the group immediately - not banned, just removed. Thanks again! :)

About Water Abstracts

Welcome! This group is for frame filling photos of unbroken water surfaces.

NO OBJECTS (including foam, leaves, ice, or water drops) above or on the surface of the water--just water and light. The water needs to fill the entire frame. And no whitewater (blurred waterfall shots, etc.)

Heavy photoshopping is also frowned upon.

Photos that don't fit the above criteria will be deleted. Members who post pictures that aren't even close or who are obviously just "dumping" non-relevant photos into groups, will be removed from the group.

Here are some paradigmatic examples of pictures that DO fit:

water

reflection on Water

Water and light 2

black watR
