About War on Cliché

War on Cliché is a community for photographers who don't settle for the standard shots. It's for people who see things differently and have the imagination, skill and attitude to take photography beyond the tired old standards and create something new and wonderful.

Win a medal for the best shots of the week in our Medal Award Ceremony.

Every week, Admin will review the photos posted in the previous week. The best six, as decided by your impeccably discerning Administrator (and his girlfriend) :-) will receive a medal, in recognition of their services to the War on Cliche!!!

The five runners up will receive a

campaignmedal

gold Campaign Medal, a nice chunk of bling to decorate the comments page of their winning image.

The OVERALL WINNER will receive a

dsmedal

purple Distinguished Service Medal, surely the highest honour which can be bestowed upon mankind. Forget about Pulitzer and Nobel; this purple plaque beats them all!
