About Wandering Aimlessly
Ok...first things first -
My intention for this group is to send one stationary, small, inexpensive object around the world and then some!
This object will be chosen in a democratic fashion by the members of this group once enough suggestions are given.
Once we have decided upon an object, the owner of the object will proceed to mail it to the first person on our secret mailing list. This shouldn't cost much, since the object is small, light, and inexpensive.
Addresses will be exchanged via email to protect ourselves, or some junk.
Anywho, once the first person on the list receives said object, he or she will proceed to photograph the hell out of this thing doing whatever, where ever it finds itself at that moment!
For example: Let's say our object is a can of SPAM. The first person on the list lives in Rochester, New York...so, our can of SPAM is lovingly wrapped up and shipped off to Rochester. Once it arrives, the can of SPAM is treated like a tourist and it is posed in ways that suggest its location (landmarks, etc.).
The item can be dressed up in clothing, or marked up however the person who has it feels...just don't destroy it! that would be monumentally tragic.
