About walsallparking

Walsall council took over the enforcement of parking in and around the town from West Midlands Police on 1st of April 2009. There has been a furious response from both traders and residents to the changes that have taken place, at times without consultation with those affected the most.

This group is here to post pictures of any unreasonable action taken by wardens or the council. Over stayed by 5 minutes for example? Been ticketed as a resident or trader without being offered any alternative arrangements such as a permit scheme? Also we would like to see any shaming of thoughtless or illegal parking, obviously with idents protected.

The residents and traders of Walsall are not cash cows for the council and common sense should prevail, after all isn't there a recession on?
