About (Wall) Street Photography
This group is for street photos from Wall Street, in New York City, USA. Not metaphorical Wall Street. The physical street: from Broadway to the FDR.
It's not that I'm in love with Wall Street. I walk the short span of it twice a day - on the way to and from work - and, to be honest, I kind of hate it a lot of the time. That's why I almost never go unarmed. Having my camera with me both lets me see the place on my own terms and forces me to find things I didn't know were there.
And there is plenty to find if you look; the street has an energy and a history unlike anywhere else.
So I'm starting this group for three reasons:
1.) I wonder if there's anybody else out there trying to cope with working here through their camera ;)
2.) I want to see interesting street photography from Wall St.
3.) I'm trying to develop my own street photography, and I'm hoping that starting this group will help.
