WALK Travel Guides announces a photography competition for the upcoming book WALK San Francisco. 50 – 100 winning photographs will be selected for inclusion in Summer 2008 WALK San Francisco Travel Guide. Along with your published photos, winners will receive a percentage from the profits made from the sales of WALK San Francisco Travel Guide. Winners will also be awarded the WALK Travel Award to display on his or her Flickr account under the photo entry. More info www.flickr.com/groups/walksan franciscocontest/rules/

Short List of Rules

1. Photos must be Geotagged with location it was taken at.
2..Digitally manipulated or unrealistic photographs will NOT be accepted. Photos that are Digitally “processed” or “developed” are allowed.
3.Family or staged photos will NOT be accepted.
4.Photos older than May 31, 2006 will NOT be accepted.
5.Black and White or other White Balance options are discouraged for continuity of the book.
6.Nude or Pornographic Photos are NOT allowed.
7. We are looking for High-Resolution photos, preferably between 150-300dpi and one edge equal to 2100 pixels in length.
