About Vintage Signs of the Midwest (VSOTM)

Welcome to Vintage Signs of the Midwest!

A few simple rules, then go ahead and post your vintage photos:

This group was created to showcase vintage signage that can be found across the midwestern United States. The "midwest" is generally considered to include Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska, but submissions from the surrounding states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Kentucky may be posted as well.

Submissions can include restaurants, bars, "Mom and Pop" motels and hotels, chain establishments, tourist courts, motor lodges, campgrounds, car dealerships, etc. Basically, feel free to post any photo that displays vintage signage, as long as the sign is the focal part of the image. A brief description of the picture along with it's location on the group map would be great.

Please, no inappropriate photos. These items will be removed:

1. Discussions that contain spam, contain offensive language, etc. We'll have none of that here, thank you.

2. Images that are not safe for public viewing. If it would not be safe to show your kids, it's more than likely inappropriate for this group.
