About Africa Watoto Friends of Grandsons - Volunteering in Mombasa

Many volunteers every year are going to Mombasa to help kids that have been left unhelped and with nothing in the streets. This group is for everyone that has been there and wants to share & show their images to the rest of the world and inspire all the people out there! Let the pictures speak for themselves.

I have recently come back from Africa where I volunteered as a teacher at Grandsons of Abraham rescue center. The kids were amazing and it was very hard to come back in London and not thinking about them. All of my friends checked out my photos from Kenya with the kids and most of them got inspired by the pictures and want to go out there and become volunteers themselves.

I decided to use flickr to share mine and other volunteers' pictures that have been there and share with you our experience. Also to show to you how great is to volunteer and how life changing is for the kids. The Grandsons of Abraham rescue center needs the help of the volunteers, and much more the kids. The center doesn't have enough teachers and depends upon the volunteers all the work. Only if you go there you will realise how important is for the kids to be educated.
