About Viverridae Photography!
this is a group for the lovers of the Viverridae family. not only that, but specifically spotted genets, either large or small, fossas, and striped civets. the mongoose, meerkat, and raccoon relatives are all welcome into the group. only your photography of these animals is alright for the group. no drawings, videos, etc... group is still in construction, so updates will be added as the group progresses.
the fossa is a small predator of madagascar. they are yet the largest predator to roam the small island. wildlife on madagascar seems to grow everyday, which just proves why we should conserve such rare animals. especially of the fossa kind.
there is also the small and large spotted genet, also perfect for this kind of group. found in south america. they are pretty unique animals as well. feel free to add as many of them to the group as you have.
we also welcome civets to the group. any species of civet is okay. the most common is the striped civet, also found on the island of madagascar. their relatives are also welcome.
meerkats, mongeese, raccoons, etc... welcome into the group. they must be a part of the viverridae family of course. so remember that when you are uploading various photography of your own.
are group seems to group in uploads somewhat often, so to keep it going constantly, we need more members and more people to contribute toward uploads and posts. feel free to leave your own post anytime. anything that you feel may be appropriate to the group. maybe a neat encounter or just something interesting you found that you would like to share.
