Seriously, though, good story. I'd love to see a continuation of it. Was this a case of justice, a criminal found? Or were they just singling him out because he was different from all the other little people?

I was thinking of a couple of things. Stormtroopers are the shock troops for the Galactic Empire (NSA). On the surface you would think it is because Mr. Purple is different, but it goes much deeper. This is just the beginning. You never know what will come from the toy box (world).

We should undertake to determine whether an unlawful combatant has been charged with an offense against the law of war (ie., riding on the bus) with an understanding that the common law of war is flexible, responsive to the exigencies of the present conflict, and deferential to the judgement of the military commanders.

No, racism is not funny, of course not, however I read this series as an anti-racism and anti-imperialism story. I think the series is taking the piss out of an over-simplistic view of 'us' and 'them'; the comments from, for example, Pterandon and Kinoshamen use irony and sarcasm in a way that to me indicates that the authors of the comments take a serious and critical view of these matters. I think it's ok to use humour to talk about serious things: I think it makes it easier to broach difficult subjects, although I understand that everyone might not agree.
