About Strikingly Different | one image, two similar but different subj
contrast
▸ noun /´kɒntrα:st/ [mass noun] the state of being strikingly different from something else in juxtaposition or close association
(Soanes, Catherine. The Oxford Dictionary of English, 2nd Edition. Oxford University Press (UK), 2003.).
Images in this pool will have two very different items, usually that you don't expect to see together, or that are the same but different in some obvious way.
This has nothing to do with lighting or colors, it has to do with subject matter. A glass of orange juice and a peppermint stick. A dirty plow horse and a newborn baby. A scorpion and a feather. That kind of thing.
In order to let us relish each offering, try to limit your submissions to just a few a day.
