About Invisible Children, Visible Change

ICVC is a community event taking place on June 2, 2007 at Crescenta Valley High School in La Crescenta, California. Inspired by a screening of "Invisible Children" at a recent school assembly, a wonderful group of students, assisted by a few dedicated teachers, decided to do something to help the children of Northern Uganda. "Invisible Children, Visible Change" will include a walkathon, a multi-cultural carnival with fabulous food and entertainment, including game booths, musical performances, handcrafted Ugandan crafts for sale, and a Peace Tiles workshop. All proceeds will be shared with Life in Africa's We Center Gulu and Invisible Children. In this flickr space, we are planning an online discussion between the kids at Life in Africa in Gulu, Uganda, and the students at CVHS the day of the event.
