V.I.Planet is a group dedicated to making our planet a better place to live.



Do you know some fancy ways to cut corners that could reduce global warming. Did your Grandparents teach you something about conserving that we would all benefit from learning? If we don't tell their stories then they will get lost.

Photos could maybe go into an Informative book on how people can change the way we consume, waste, and manage resources. I figure that if each person on flickr cuts back on using too much water, filling the landfills with needless garbage, and blackening the air, then our future will quickly brighten.

I am open to ideas and criticism. I think it would be good to develop a pool of photographs that communicate so clearly that even the most jaded self indulgent petroleum tycoon should be able to understand. Change takes along time, I fear all the damage that compounds daily through combined inaction.

Can we try our best, and have fun as well? Perhaps we could make small group vows to use less water? I am open to ideas always.

Throughout history it has been the genius of Artists who have moved the masses to become better at being. Let's keep up that tradition! If we don't rule ourselves then we will be ruled.

So join or don't join...at least try harder.
