About Vintage Pittsburgh
Maybe it's nostalgia about my hometown talking, but I think Pittsburgh has some of the most interesting history of any city in America. I'd like for this group to document this theory with photos.
I have two types of photos in mind. The first would be old photos taken in Pittsburgh, hopefully with a little background story. I'm using the term "old" rather loosely. As a rule of thumb, let's say that any people in the photo wouldn't look the same today.
Scans of postcards, magazine covers, newspapers, etc. are also welcome.
I'd also like current pictures of anything historic that's still in use, say, the Mon Incline.
Whenever possible, please include the name of the neighborhood or borough.
