About Vintage Kids

Welcome to the Vintage Kids Flickr group.

As the name implies, the group is for posting vintage photographs of children. In other words, images in the group pool must meet the following criteria:

1. Images must be real vintage photos. By "real vintage," we mean from the eighties or older. Photos taken from 1990 or later do not qualify. Recent digital photos absolutely do not qualify, even if they have a vintage look.

2. Images must feature children. By "children," we mean human persons from birth to roughly mid teens. There is no precise age limit, but by the late teens (17-19), we're usually entering "young adult" territory. Use your own discretion.

Please do not post the following types of images:

* any photos taken after 1989
* any digital photos photoshopped or otherwise processed to look old
* recent photos of kids wearing vintage clothing, or posing in vintage settings
* crafts or collages using old photos
* vintage illustrations (the group is for photos, not illustration)
* photos that don't feature children at all.

You can post photos featuring adults, as long as children can also be seen in them.
