Essentially, this group is dedicated to vintage, un-manipulated photographs in which the eyes of humans -or- animals dominate. By "Vintage" we mean pre-1980, and black and white, primarily. There is no restriction on the type of image: Snaphots, Photobooth and Vernacular are just as appropriate as formal portraiture. Again, heavily cropped or manipulated images are a bummer and will be deleted. So will original images downloaded from someone else's blog, Google Images, and not from your dresser drawer. There's a place and a time for that, but I 'd prefer that it not be here. Images co-opted from a third party will be deleted. Honor system.
If you have to have a detail, please post a composite of the photo and its original context. We are really going to be sticklers and purists about this, deleting heavily cropped images that are obviously out of original context. Thanks guys for being so understanding. By: ggaabboo
