About Vigilance
This is dedicated to the defunct Indie Newspaper, Vigilance. It was a local outlet, free to join and free to read, that covered local & global politics and arts & entertainment. It was a free voice among the ever-tightening choke-chain of corporate propaganda that masquerades as information.
It's now dead from dwindling belief in the ideals that made this country believe in itself.
If you are an ex-Vigilante and would like to share scans of your work here, please do so and clock in as one of the chosen few. But, we are not exclusive here....
...If you are a member of an indie news source, please join and share your work. If your source is a digital medium, just take a screen shot and post that.
This group should be a monument to truly free press to let people know that it's still out there and not to lose hope. If you have tales of grand pantsing of the man in independent media, please share that in the forums. Or just shamelessly promote your website, zine, or rag. It's all good.
(Vigilance was located in Port Townsend, WA USA and existed approx. between the years 2000 and 2005 (an era when the world lost its mind, seemingly for good))
