About Views From Nowhere
TAKE A PHOTO FROM YOUR WINDOW & POST IT HERE
NO SUNSETS OR RAINBOWS OR PRETTY WEATHER
Some people travel for weeks, weighed down by backpacks in order to ‘see the world'. As all of these people already live in the world all they really need to do in order to ‘see’ it is to look out their windows.
What if every person took a picture of the view through her or his window? Wouldn’t such a collection of photographs give us a real idea of what the world actually looked like to those who lived there?
This group aims to make a start on this.
Please take a picture of the view through your window. Not the prettiest view, but the most familiar, the one you see most often. You can use your mobile phone or take a professional photograph – the quality is up to you.
I would eventually like to turn this group into an exhibition and/or a book....
we'll see how it goes.
