About Vietnam in Black and White

Welcome to Vietnam in Black and White

This is a forum for Vietnamese photography in black and white. The rules are very simple:

1. Your photo must be in black and white or of a monochromatic hue
2. It’s OK if your photo has selective coloring, but the majority of the photo must be of one monochromatic hue
3. You must either be Vietnamese or have roots in Vietnam
4. If you are neither Vietnamese nor have roots in Vietnam, then your photo must be taken in Vietnam

If you do not follow the above rules, your photos (or you) will be removed from the pool without notice.

In case you don’t know what monochromatic is, here is a definition as derived from Wikipedia:
- Monochromatic object or image is one whose range of colors consists of shades of a single color or hue; monochrome images in neutral colors are also known as grayscale or black-and-white.



Chào bạn đã đến với diễn đàn Việt Nam trong màu Trắng và Đen

Đây là một diễn đàn cho nghệ thuật nhiếp ảnh Việt Nam bằng màu trắng đen. Luật chơi rất đơn giản:

1. Hình của bạn phải là hình trắng đen hay là một thể loại đơn sắc mà thôi
2. Hình của bạn có thể có một ít màu, nhưng sỉ số không màu phải trội hơn sỉ số có màu
3. Bạn phải là người Việt Nam hay có gốc ở Việt Nam
4. Nếu bạn không phải là người Việt Nam hay có gốc ở Việt Nam thì hình của bạn phải được chụp ở Việt Nam

Nếu bạn không theo luật ở trên, hình của bạn (hay chính bạn) sẽ bị xoá khỏi diễn đàn.

Nếu bạn không hiểu từ đơn sắc thì đây là trích lục nghĩa đơn sắc từ Wikipedia:
- Một bức ảnh đơn sắc là một bức ảnh chỉ có một màu hay một sắc màu; hình đơn sắc màu trung thường được gọi là màu xám hay màu trắng đen.
