About Victoria BC Flora and Fauna
Images of the Flora and Fauna of Victoria BC.
From Arbutus trees to Orcas, Garry Oaks to Worms, post your favourite images taken on or above Greater Victoria (Sooke to Sidney but not the Gulf Islands).
Guidelines:
1. Please identify the subject of the photo, the location, and the date the photo was taken to the best of your ability.
2. Tag your photo with the following information:
"flora" or "fauna", in some cases in may be both! (bee on a flower)
"native" if the flora or fauna is native to Victoria
"month" and "year" of photo. That way you could do a search for January and see what the plant life in Victoria looks like in January, sure fire bragging fun with your Eastern relatives! Perhaps the year even can be a tag? Not all Januaries are created equal.
3. Please post high resolution pictures for all to enjoy. :)
