Boom without vision plagues the west. Box stores replace towns. Sidewalks are the last of considerations. This boom is panic in slow motion. It's fascinating how the change seems to not bother the majority, it seems almost as if it goes by unnoticed. The new reality is leaving humanity behind. Making fast money cancels out vision. No room for pedestrians, just cars and parking lots.
However.....
The purpose of this group is NOT to dwell on the doom and gloom but to focus on portraying this new reality without judgement. In fact the attempt is to capture the bleakest of reality in ways that lure the viewer in with positive feelings, much similar to using Photoshop to hide blemishes on the glamourous on magazine covers. The idea here would be to disguise the ugly and blankness with the look of pureness.
For example, industrial grunge, garbage on the street, graffiti and run down buildings are not welcome here. The goal is to exhibit the industrial pristine, super green grass, brand new parking lots, the newest box store, new sub-divisions, and all preferably against perfect blue sky. In other words, if there is any sort of clutter, it has to shine. Or better yet remove it with Photoshop.
The images should be visually charged, I personally like the words "vibrant blank" to describe the mood of these images.

seeming to quiver or pulsate with energy or activity
Blank: not written on, drawn on or printed on
plain and unvaried
having or showing no interest or awareness
complete or absolute
