About Verichrome
Post your shots taken on Verichrome, the classic black & white film that Kodak used to make since 1931!!!
You can also post photos of Verichrome films or cameras that used to use Verichrome.
Verichrome was first introduced around 1907 or 1908 by Frederick C.L. Wratten and Henry Wainwright of Wratten & Wainwright Ltd., Croydon England UK. In 1912 the company was bought by George Eastman. The emulsion was subsequently introduced by Eastman Kodak as a roll film on a safety base in 1931. At the time it had orthochromatic spectral sensitivity, and was later replaced in 1956 with the modern fully panchromatic emulsion known as Verichrome Pan.
