About Venue Perspective Tagging
Similar to our great geotagging forefathers ( http://www.flickr.com/groups/geotagging/ ), I have started to using tags to provide everyone with additional details on my location when taking a picture. Specifically I have started tagging my seat location for specific events. I am using the machine tag format that has been adopted for a number of other areas (see examples below). Tagging these pictures with seat location attributes will allow others to pull up information for this event and venue by seat or section location. My hope is that this could turn into some interesting applications. For example, multiple viewing angles of the same event, or an application that lets users try out a specific seat before they buy tickets. Below is an example of the format I have started to use:
"Venue Perspective Tagged"
Upcoming:venue=12345
Ticketmaster:venue=12345
Event:VenueName="Example Stadium"
Event:Section=123
Event:Row=45
Event:Seat=67
