About Venture Into Retailing: Midwest Retail

Anything Midwest retail related, past and present. Pics relating to malls and shopping centers are of course allowed, and ditto with abandoned stores, malls, etc. The area this will include will be all Midwest states(as east as Ohio, west into Missouri, and north into Minnesota and Michigan), and northern Plains states retail(anything from North Dakota to Kansas) is fine for this group, as well. I'll also allow the Northern Kentucky(NKY) area south of Cincinnati, Louisville area stuff, and KY Ohio River communities right along that river in(a la Owensboro, Paducah, Maysville), but NOTHING further south than that please.

The name for this blog is named after the retailer Venture, which went out of business in the mid-1990s, and was based in the Saint Louis area. It was the first retail chain I admired growing up.
