About veg-art

Vegetables make the greengrocer smile and allotments worth digging. So we’d like to celebrate the glory of veg, and have taken a load of pictures of our favourites and popped the extra special ones on the inside of our veg pot packs. You should have a go too – just upload your beautiful shots to our veg-based flickr group and we’ll award special prizes to the pics that make it onto our packs.

Guidelines – Interesting, humorous and not a phallic root veg in sight. Your photo should show beautiful vegetables, and also have a slight sense of humour. It could tell a story, make you think or present a different point of view. It could be shot at a market, in an allotment, in your garden or indoors, and lighting should always be natural – no crazy photoshopping or special effects please. Oh, and we don't need any rude-shaped veg or Mr Potato Heads. They’ve been done.

Lastly all submitted photos that we use on our packaging (and win the prizes) must be original. You must have taken it yourself and not have uploaded something you found on the internet or in your email in other words. We'd get in trouble with copyrights and stuff otherwise.
