13 Feb 12 - You all post such beautiful photos! Please geotag your photos so we know where in the Valley of the Sun you took them. Flickr photos pages now show maps in the top right corner. If you can't geotag, please tag city name & Arizona. Photos that do not indicate a Valley of the Sun location will be removed. Thanks for understanding.

About Valley of the Sun (Phoenix Metro)

This group was created to celebrate all that there is to do and see here in the Valley of the Sun. The emphasis is on landmarks and localness. The geographical boundaries of this group cover a larger area than city groups while being less encompassing than statewide groups. Please put your photos on the map and/or tag them with the names of the locations and cities where you took them.

The "Valley of the Sun" includes:
Phoenix Metro a.k.a. "Phoenix Metropolitan Area" includes Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Mesa, Peoria, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Apache Junction, Avondale, Buckeye, Casa Grande, El Mirage, Eloy, Florence, Fountain Hills, Goodyear, Maricopa, Paradise Valley, Surprise, Queen Creek, and others listed in this Wikipedia article.
