This is NOT a group for photos from your latest trip to Russia or any other post-USSR country (Ukraine, Moldavia etc.)

What DOES NOT belong here:
* photos from other soviet block countries (GDR, Cuba etc.); - unless there are Soviet made objects;
* scenes of new, post-Soviet life (Macdonalds, former Soviet republics)
* Russian girls, churches, landscapes etc.

Photos from or somehow related to 1917-1991 period.

The "evil empire" is gone but its relics can still be seen here and there. Feel free to be nostalgic or sarcastic. Hurry to capture glimpses of the past.
Please, be more focused on the subject - there are other groups for churches, landscapes etc.
